Privacy notice
This notice is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and the related Communiqué on the duty to inform. The Turkish version of this notice prevails.
1. Data controller#

2. Personal data we process#

Please do not send special categories of data (for example health data or criminal records) in your first message.
3. Purposes#
- Responding to your inquiry and assessing your request,
- Running a conflict check,
- Preliminary discussions towards a possible engagement,
- Keeping the website secure and complying with legal obligations,
- With your consent only: measuring website use and the performance of advertising campaigns.
4. Legal grounds#
- KVKK Art. 5(2)(c): processing directly related to entering into a contract (responding to you, preliminary discussions, conflict check).
- KVKK Art. 5(2)(ç): compliance with a legal obligation (for example records under Law No. 5651).
- KVKK Art. 5(2)(e): establishing, exercising or protecting a right.
- KVKK Art. 5(2)(f): legitimate interest (website security).
- KVKK Art. 5(1), explicit consent: non-essential cookies and the measurement they enable. You can withdraw consent at any time from the cookie panel.
The contact form does not rely on consent; the checkbox only confirms that you have read this notice.
5. How we collect data#
Through the website contact form, email, phone and messaging apps, and cookies, by partly automated and non-automated means.
6. Transfers#
Personal data may be shared, only for the purposes above, with:
- the website hosting provider (Matrix Yazılım (matrixotoerp)) and the email service provider,
- competent public authorities and courts where required by law,
- measurement and advertising providers (Google, LinkedIn) only if you have given consent.
Where a provider's servers are located outside Türkiye, the transfer is carried out in accordance with the procedures and safeguards in KVKK Article 9.
7. Retention#
Records of inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted, destroyed or anonymised two years from the last correspondence. If an engagement is formed, the retention periods in the applicable legislation apply. Information learned during an inquiry is protected as professional secrecy even if no engagement follows.
8. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)#
You may ask whether your data is processed and request information about it; learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad; request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; request deletion or destruction under KVKK Art. 7 and notification of these actions to recipients; object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

Send your request in writing to the address above, or by email to info@bozcalaw.com from an email address registered with us, in line with the Communiqué on application procedures. Requests are answered free of charge within thirty days (KVKK Art. 13).
